A new study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine suggests that “weekend warriors,” those who pack all their exercise into one or two days, may have a similar risk of mild dementia as those who exercise more frequently throughout the week. The findings indicate that the overall amount of physical activity, rather than the frequency, could be key in supporting cognitive health. This offers encouraging news for those with busy schedules, showing that even condensed exercise routines can contribute to long-term brain health.
