To avoid heatstroke and other heat-related emergencies, it is advised to stay hydrated, wear lightweight and light-colored clothing to reflect sunlight, and frequently rest in cool or shaded areas. Also, adjusting your schedule to avoid the hottest parts of the day can significantly minimize risk. Vulnerable groups, including the young, elderly, and those with chronic medical conditions, should take extra precautions. It is important to be aware of symptoms such as excessive sweating, weakness, and dizziness to address them promptly.
