Rapid aging in young people linked to increased cancer risks
Recent findings reveal a concerning trend of accelerated aging among young people, correlated with a significant rise in cancer risks. Studies have shown a 42 percent increase in lung cancer and a 22 percent higher risk for gastrointestinal cancer in younger populations compared to past generations. This accelerated aging could be attributed to modern lifestyle factors such as poor diet, lack of physical activity, and environmental pollutants, all of which may contribute to cellular damage and early onset of age-related diseases.
