Five effective stretches for releasing a frozen shoulder

Frozen shoulder is a common disorder that causes pain and stiffness, affecting mainly people ages 40 to 60 with a higher occurrence in women. Five effective stretches to release a frozen shoulder include: 1) The Pendulum Stretch, which involves circular motions of the arm to increase joint mobility; 2) The Cross-Body Reach, where you stretch the affected arm across your body; 3) The Armpit Stretch, which focuses on opening the shoulder by pulling your affected arm upwards; 4) The Towel Stretch, using a towel to pull your arm upward or across your back; and 5) The Finger Walk, where you face a wall and walk your fingers up as high as possible. It is important to stretch to the point of tension but not pain while performing these exercises.
