Researchers at the University of Leeds found that the involvement of dads in their children’s lives plays a key role in their academic success. When dads actively engage in educational activities such as reading to their children and helping with homework, children tend to perform better in school. The researchers indicate that the positive impact is consistent across all child genders, ethnicities, and family income levels. These new findings highlight the importance of a father's role in child care and their educational success.
