Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) has emerged as the primary cause of marijuana-related emergency room visits. CHS is characterized by severe recurring vomiting and abdominal pain in long-term, daily marijuana users. Symptoms often lead sufferers to seek relief in hot showers or baths, which can temporarily alleviate discomfort. In healthcare settings, intravenous fluids and an antiemetic are given to stop the vomiting. With rising cannabis use for both recreational and medical purposes, awareness and effective management of CHS are essential to prevent this severe condition.
