Testing reveals animal contraceptive and antibiotics in popular fast foods
A recent investigation by Moms Across America (MAA), a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about GMOs and toxic chemicals in food, has uncovered veterinary antibiotic, antiparasitic, and contraceptive medications in foods sold by the 10 most popular fast food restaurants in the U.S. Lab testing detected alarming traces of animal contraceptives such as nicarbazin and antibiotics including monensin in popular fast food items. These findings raise health concerns, as the presence of such substances in food can lead to antibiotic resistance and unexpected hormonal effects in consumers.
