A recent clinical study from Mayo Clinic, published in the scientific journal Nature Communications, has given researchers new hope that stem cell therapy could improve sensation and movement in patients with spinal cord injuries or degeneration, even more than a year after the injury. With the safety and efficacy of the treatment now proven, researchers are expanding their efforts into a larger clinical trial. This breakthrough could lead to a transformative treatment for those with spinal cord injuries or degeneration, potentially offering lasting recovery for patients.
