A recent scientific study published in the journal JAMA Network Open suggests that incorporating olive oil into your diet could significantly reduce the risk of death associated with dementia. The research showed that participants consuming at least 7 grams of olive oil daily had a 28% lower risk of dementia-related death compared to those who never or rarely consumed olive oil. Rich in monounsaturated fats and antioxidants, the long term consumption of olive oil may offer protective benefits for the brain. These factors are critical in mitigating the progression of dementia and mortality risk.
